 2. Connecting with Therapist Parts & The Therapeutic Relationship

     • Strengthen your therapeutic relationship by recognizing and harmonizing your own therapist parts.

 3. Befriending Parts and Accessing Self

     • Deepen your skills in guiding clients toward Self-leadership and differentiating Self from Self-like parts.

 4. Navigating Polarizations & Direct Access Techniques

     • Learn to work effectively with polarized parts and use direct access to engage complex client dynamics.

     • Discover how to integrate the body into your IFS work with body-centered parts mapping techniques.

  • Bridgett Littel, LMFT
    Bridgett is passionate about creating a safe space for both her clients and the clinic team members. While pulling from many treatment modalities, Bridgett grounds her work in Internal Family Systems and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; she is a level one graduate of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and a level 1 & 2 graduate of Internal Family Systems, as well as, a Program Assistant for IFSI (Internal Family Systems Institute) in both Level 1 & Level 2’s. Bridgett is a Certified & Endorsed Supervisor for IFSI and a Minnesota Marriage & Family Board Approved Supervisor. She holds a Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelors of Science in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Organizational Communication and Public Relations. Bridgett believes what we do, think, feel and believe is there for a reason, no matter how counterproductive it might feel, and that, by turning towards and being curious, we can gain insight to create shifts in the patterned responses that make us feel stuck.

  • Gwen M Hurd, LCSW
    Gwen Hurd, LCSW, is a Level 3 Certified IFS Therapist, Clinical Consultant and Lead Trainer for IFS-Insitute. She graduated from the University of Chicago with her MSW in 1994. She was introduced to IFS during her graduate program and began her level one in 1998. She finished her level three training in 2014 and began Program Assisting in 2015. She has used IFS in her work as a Child Protection Investigator in the Chicago area and with at-risk youth and families both as a therapist and program director, in northwest Indiana. She moved to St George, Utah in 2008. She has taught at both the bachelor's and master's degree levels. She served as a Court Ordered Custody Evaluator from 2005-2022 both in Indiana and in Utah. She is currently the Clinical Director and Therapist at Sage Circle Counseling Center in St George. She is currently licensed in Utah, Nevada, Texas, and Montana.

  • Leslie Petruk, MA, LCMHC-S, NCC, BCC
    Leslie Petruk, LCMHC-S, NCC, BCC is a Lead IFS Trainer, an IFS-Level-3 and IFS Certified therapist, a Board Certified Coach and the Director of The Stone Center For Counseling and Leadership (www.thestonecenternc.com) in Charlotte, NC. Her group private practice served children, individuals, couples and families until 2021 when she transitioned her practice online. One of her specialty areas is working with parents utilizing the IFS model and teaching the IN-Sight Parenting Program© that she created utilizing the IFS model. In addition, Leslie provides consultation and supervision to individuals and groups seeking licensure or IFS Certification. She has taught introductory IFS workshops as well as the application of IFS for clinicians working with children and parents. Leslie has presented at the IFS National Conference on topics including Parenting, The Application of Sandtray to IFS, IFS and Play Therapy, and applying IFS to Work with Children and Parents. She has taught nationally and internationally on the above topics and conducted workshops on topics such as: Becoming a Self Led Therapist, Play Therapy and Parenting Through an IFS Lens, and many more. She has developed a parenting program, IN-Sight Parenting© that teaches the application of IFS principals for parents to become the calm and confident parent they desire to be.

Professional boards across different states vary in what they will accept. The approvals associated with this event offer credits to a target audience of behavioral health professions across the widest number of states. If you are unsure if the provided approvals will be accepted by your board, we recommend reaching out to your board office for clarification regarding whether the offered CE’s will be accepted.


Each professional is responsible for meeting their licensing agency’s continuing education (CE) requirements. Please check with your licensing board or regulatory agency to ensure compliance for licensure renewal. You must attend live (in real time) to earn CE credits.


Obtaining (up to 18) CE Credits and Certificate:

Before each session, you will receive an email from CE-Go with a link to access the virtual event. All CE-Go emails, including access links and instructions, will be sent to the email address you used for registration.

Through your CE-Go attendee dashboard, you can:

 • Complete the required evaluation forms

 • Download your CE certificate as a PDF

Each session grants 3 CE credits, with a total of 6 sessions available. If you attend all sessions, you will earn 18 CE credits in total.

To Receive CE credits for a Session, You Must:

• Attend at least 90% of the live session. (Credit is not given for watching recordings.)

• Complete an evaluation form for each session you attended live (up to 6 total).

After the course ends: 

  • Complete a final evaluation form (with session evaluations up to 7 evaluations total).

Once the course ends & ALL required evaluations are submitted:

  • A downloadable CE certificate will be available on your CE-Go dashboard.

Refund Policy
Refunds will not be issued once payment has been processed, as all transaction and hosting fees are immediately paid out upon receipt of payment. If you are unable to attend the entirety of the course for any reason, the amount paid can be applied to a future training. Refunds will also not be provided for any sessions missed; you will be able to review the missed content recording made available to you 24-48 hours post-session until 4 weeks after the end of the course.

Course Enrollment Minimum Policy

For the course to proceed on the scheduled dates, at least 12 participants must register. If this minimum is not met, the course start date will be postponed until the requirement is fulfilled. We will notify you one week prior to the original start date if the course needs to be postponed.
